Dr. Maitrrayee is a reputed and highly skilled Cornea and Anterior Segment Surgeon. She completed her MBBS from Assam Medical College in 2009 and her MS Ophthalmology from the same institute. Dr. Maitrayee has shown keen interest in the field of Cornea and has also worked as a medical consultant at Aravind Eye Hospital, Coimbatore. Apart from being a specialist in Cornea, she has managed and successfully treated ocular trauma cases, one of them being globe ruptures. Dr. Maitrayee has actively conducted several eye camps in and around Tamil Nadu and has also been of assistance in the procedures of DSEK as well as DMEK.
